New Silksworth Academy is seeking to appoint a committed and highly dynamic Assistant Headteacher who will contribute to and embody the ethos and vision of our school and that of Extol Trust.

The successful candidate will be someone who is keen to further develop their knowledge and skills in all aspects of school leadership and someone who will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our school community.

The role is primarily to assist the Head and Deputy Headteacher in the leadership, management, organisation and development of the school, in order to achieve the highest possible standards of teaching and learning. This will include a teaching commitment with class responsibility within Key Stage 2 and leading a core subject across both academies. Weekly non-contact time will be provided.

The successful candidate will:

  • be an outstanding, well-qualified and appropriately experienced teacher;
  • have appropriate leadership experience evidencing outstanding leadership skills;
  • evidence their commitment to equality and inclusion;
  • develop strategy and articulate a distinctive and visionary shared educational philosophy and ethos which is visibly extended throughout the school;
  • support the Senior Leadership Team to develop and promote an ambitious, rigorous, innovative and values driven curriculum for the school;
  • lead and support the leaders to further embed the good practice by developing the provision for students with a range of learning needs;
  • oversee the development and deployment of pupil tracking, in close liaison with the Senior Leadership Team;
  • evidence their personal impact on children’s outcomes;
  • lead a team in the production of a Self-Evaluation Form and Securing Improvement Planning;
  • plan, develop, monitor and evaluate appropriate learning activities understanding that the role of the school is to provide effective education for all pupils;
  • support the Senior Leadership Team to oversee their implementation of consistent and effective interventions to support pupil’ academic development;
  • support pupils throughout significant transitions ·collaborate and lead on cross Trust training days and CPD opportunities for all staff within the Trust.

The successful candidate will also need to be a highly skilled classroom practitioner, as all members of the Leadership Team are expected to model good practice and to contribute to our continuing work to develop learning. Eldon Grove Academy are seeking to appoint a committed and highly effective Classroom Assistant, who will contribute to meeting the needs of all pupils in all aspects of the Primary Curriculum and the wider life of the school. The post, in the first instance, is for Reception. The successful applicant will become part of a forward thinking stand out school which became part of the Extol Trust on 1st July 2013.

 

The successful candidate should have:

• The ability to work with groups and individual pupils under the guidance of a teacher;

• The ability to inspire, engage and motivate children to learn;

• Experience of working with children in Early Years or KS1;

Extol Trust are seeking to employ a highly motivated and enthusiastic Accounting Technician Trainee to work as part of the Extol Trust Central Finance Team led by the Trust Chief Finance Officer.  Extol Trust Central Finance Team prides itself on the quality of service that it delivers to its family of schools and the successful candidate will be supported to undertake the AAT Accounting Qualification (Level 2 - 4).  The successful candidate will start studying at the appropriate level based on previous experience undertaking this qualification.  The successful candidate will be supported throughout their studies with 1 day per week during term time to undertake their studies.

 

The ideal candidate will have good organisational skills and the abliity to multi task and combine on the job working alongside professional study.
