Due to the promotion of our current Assistant Headteacher we are looking for an Assistant Head Teacher, who is passionate about leadership and the impact it has on improving lives. Our specialist classes are small and adaptive to the wide ranging and complex needs of the children they serve.

You will need to demonstrate that you are a strong, strategic and reflective practitioner who can challenge and motivate others.

We are looking for someone who:

  • understands how to lead teaching to meet the needs of pupils with complex SEND
  • can strategically plan and implement improvements in Specialist Provision and has a proven record of whole school improvement
  • can build positive and respectful relationships across our school and Trust
  • upholds public trust in leadership and maintains high standards of ethics, behaviour and professional conduct
  • is ambitious for themselves and for Springwell School

 

The successful candidate will be someone who is keen to further develop knowledge and skills in all aspects of school leadership and someone who will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our school community.

 

The role is primarily to assist with the leadership, management, organisation and development of the school, in order to achieve the highest possible standards of teaching and learning in a specialist setting.

 

The successful candidate will also need to be a highly skilled classroom practitioner, as all members of the Leadership Team are expected to model good practice in the classroom and to contribute to our continuing work to develop learning.   • Previous experience of working with, or caring for, children aged 3 – 11
  • Experience of working within a school/childcare environment

Springwell is a generic primary aged special school. We are seeking to recruit a highly competent, dynamic, enthusiastic and experienced Office Manager to join our highly effective team.


We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate:
• Previous Administration experience
• Excellent customer service experience
• Working efficiently in an organised manner
• Experience of submitting monitoring data to external sources
• Ability to produce and analyse data in order to generate reports
• Knowledge of implementing a range of successful administrative procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people, including children
