A Rare HR Leadership Role to Make Your Own
We are an ambitious North East Trust, providing high quality education which improves the life chances of children and young people.
You are an ambitious HR professional looking for a dynamic leadership role where you can build and lead an HR function in a fast-paced environment. Through your knowledge of workforce development you’ll support strategic change across the Trust, building an HR infrastructure that equips us for the future.
Most importantly, you’ll be inspired by the same mission that drives all of us, a passionate commitment to widening educational opportunity for all. You will demonstrate a commitment to the Trust’s values of Inspiration, Excellence and Partnership and alignment with the Trust’s vision and ethos.
With five schools currently and with plans to grow, we are looking for an individual with drive and energy, ready to roll up their sleeves and create a dynamic HR service. You’ll be equally comfortable driving change to sharpen HR operations as you will be to lead on further developing our HR offering at a strategic level to our Trust Schools.
You will lead on being responsible for providing employment advice to our Headteachers and Senior Leaders across all aspects of HR processes and policies, including absence management, performance management, appraisal, disciplinary and appraisal. You will also be required to liaise with trade unions where appropriate.
We are looking for a CIPD qualified individual who has at least 3 years’ experience. We require someone with exceptional organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your own workload and ensure that the Trust and its individual schools needs are met.
Call us for an informal (and confidential) conversation about the role or to arrange to visit us prior to application to find out more about our Trust.
